various speeds @f 10.0 iso 100 using a 10-20mm sigma wide angle set at 10mm, I'm not sure if my full frame camera allows the whole sensor to be utilised with this lens but it seems ok to me. Leaving the tripod fixed I took three images changing only the exposure, starting on the right exposing for the very bright highlights and then a second for the centre of the scene and finally one longer exposure for the castle. The three images were merged in lightroom using the merge HDR (High Dynamic Range) function which also used auto to adjust the final image ie exposure, highlights etc.
I took this image to just capture the bay in it's entirity including the pebbly foreshaw.
Well your technique certainly gives a well balanced photo, I particuarly like how the sky and the pebble beach seem to mirror each other in the way the clouds converge and the pebbles converge. A great image.
