The club was treated to colourful images of happy children when Pamela Wright gave an excellent illustrated talk on the work of the Goodwill Childrens Homes in the South of India.
It was humbling to see their zest for life and to appreciate just how hard they study as they strive to acquire income producing skills in an area where lack of education is at the root of poverty
