We judged the entries for our Saturday Shoot competition this week. At the weekend we had gathered (in the pouring rain initially) at the quayside in Berwick and had 2 hours to take photos before submitting the unedited pictures. The winning photo was by Russell Young

well deserved win. What makes it for me is the great sky and the light on the watchtower, but the placing of the people gives the picture to me perfect balance.

I am just in the process of creating the competition gallery which will name them but am happy to do so here as well. In second place was Andrew Watkin and I came third
