Thanks for your comment Julie. It's a single shot using Intentional Camera Movement. In this case I slowly moved the camera in a vertical direction. To do this you need a slow shutter speed and to compensate for the longer exposure it's necessary to use a small aperture and possibly an ND filter (depending on the shutter speed). For this image it was 1.5 sec shutter speed, f16, ISO 160 and a 4 stop ND filter. It's very much trial and error!
You really will have to learn to hold the camera still! This one works well I like the fact you can still make out the boats. I think the blue blob bottom right is a distraction.
I do like the coloured wiggles and the reflections, along with the obvious shapes of the boats. The light is great.
