I keep coming back to this to try and understand it. I still don't but I like it
It was taken at the Glagow Botanic gardens and is a leaf scar from one of the larger plants in the tropical section. What throws the eye is that I've fliiped it through 180 degrees, so what looks like a beak is in fact the leaf above the scar. The strong mono conversion abstracts it a little more.
It's a bit of a marmite image, but I think it's quite fun...
